Our Mission
Here at Thursday Detention, we hope to inspire joy and humor in Westridge students' everyday lives. Our goal is not to give you honest and transparent reporting (we suggest you check out Spyglass for that) but instead to bring Westridge's lesser-known.... eccentricity.... to light. Our Story

Our story started how they always do: with forbidden love. When Sosi, Sophia, and Caroline quit their jobs as corporate lawyers to pursue their true love for journalism, they thought it would be a brief hobby. That was 36 years ago.
Since our humble founding in 1988, Thursday Detention has grown in popularity. However, no matter our size, we will always be a family-owned business at heart. |
