Here's a quick note: don't follow my example. Our teachers are going through just as much as we are right now, so please be kind to them! I suggest following the template of my March/April emails.
Over the past six months, my patience for emailing has almost disappeared entirely. Below I illustrate the state of my current email style. I hope you enjoy this dramatic take on the degradation of my emails.
March
Dear [insert teacher name],
I hope this email finds you and your family safe and healthy during these hard and unprecedented times. How are you? I was wondering if it would be possible for you to send me the lecture notes from class today because I was out sick and didn’t receive them. Thank you so much for your help, and I hope you have a restful weekend! Best, sos |
