Gratitude Journaling
by knee

I have been seeing a lot of posts online about manifesting. As we entered a new trip around the sun, my most significant New Years’ resolution was to be a manifesting GOD. I took all the necessary steps — I bought crystals from Etsy, a candle from Target, and a slightly positive mindset for the new year. However, manifestation is nothing without completely chance events aligning with repeated sentences written in an old notebook — this I learned from TikTok. So, I decided that along with my crystals and new candle, I would start documenting the things I am grateful for. Here are a few.

  1. The carts used for furniture in Ikea that you can actually just sit on and roll on through the isles.
  2. The fact that my phone case broke in November 2021, and my phone still has not cracked despite me dropping it down multiple flights of stairs.
  3. The small scratch on the back of my car that I made while lightly backing directly into a bush.
  4. White noise
  5. Pop its
  6. The Gangnam Style music video
  7. Lint rolling
  8. Ikea
  9. Using the word “hath” in every day language
  10. Gorrilla Glue
