“Speed. I am Speed” is the famous quote said by the one and only Lightning McQueen, however, I would like to debate that his bestie Mater may just be faster and the better driver.
While Lightning McQueen has been trained to be a speedy racer, Mater has more technical and necessary abilities when driving. For example, Mater is a bomb a$$ reverse driver. His speed and precision are unmatched all because of his handy dandy rearview mirrors. (Check your mirrors like Mater kids). Secondly, when Mater and Lightning were being sneaky ;) and scaring the tractors, Lightning failed to beat mater safely out of the field even though he is trained to be speedy. Mater was able to get away safely without being caught, unlike Lightning who got caught and had to vroom vroom for his life.
As a car citizen, Mater is the better choice for car-friendliness. Mater would always pull over to help a car in need. Lightning McQueen would most likely say “oh my b didn’t see you there.” This is in no way hate towards Lightning McQueen, I am merely stating facts of these fantastic cars. Everyone go listen to Life is a Highway.
