As I walk through the main hall at approximately 2:37 pm on a Tuesday afternoon, a peculiar scent wafts by me, and I can’t help but mutter, “Someone cooked here…” (season 4 episode 11 from Breaking Bad.)
As Thursday Detention’s prime investigative journalist, I immediately begin to look for the source of this smell and tracked it down to the small patio across from the main hall bathroom. There I found my culprits:
The Rocketry Kids.
After catching them in the act, they tried to defend themselves, claiming they were making fuel for their rocket, but they didn’t fool me for a second! It was obvious what they were really up to: Cooking hard drugs right here on Westridge campus! See below:
Figure 1.1:
Rocketry kids heating up a fine white powder… They tried to tell me it was a sugar based compound, erythri-something or other. Don’t believe them, this is clearly cocaine.
Figure 1.2
What’s in this suspicious yellow can the Rocketry kids keep in STEAMwork? Figure 1.3:
Their whole stash of cocaine powder! Several bricks worth! I checked with some local dealers, and the whole bag is worth almost six figures! Maybe the Rocketry kids are onto something… Gotta fund their launch trips somehow. Figure 1.4
Final piece of evidence, for good measure. A cup filled to the brim with crystal-like shards! My best guess is some kind of methamphetamine. I heard they enjoy eating these. Didn’t try any myself. Or did I?
So now, you all know the truth about what goes down in Rocketry. The elective is full of burnt-out, stem-focused, meth-munching, cocaine-cooking, druggies! This revelation explains their heightened personalities perfectly. I don’t know how I didn’t find out about this sooner! After my ground-breaking investigation, I have to say I do have some respect for the grind the Rocketry kids put into their drug lab. Maybe one day they can single-handedly help to pay for our prom tickets.
