In the winter of my Junior year, I undertook the greatest project of my time at Westridge. It was a tepid January day, and I was sitting smack in the middle of Mr. Harrison’s HUSH class. Feeling bored. Listless. Crushed by the pressure to create a perfect map of the Eastern United States. That was when I heard it: a ghostly sound emanating from Bill’s cute little blue JBL. The song? God’s Country by Blake Shelton. The legacy which this tune created? Absolutely unprecedented. This was the inception of Mr. Harrison’s Good-Time Tunes.
Over the past year, I and 1 co-conspirator have curated a precise, hard-hitting country playlist as a tribute to William Harrison. It features Dolly Parton, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Fleetwood Mac, and H-Man’s fav: Lana Del Rey. Listen if you care to. Submit more songs, if you feel so moved. I intend this to be a living document, encapsulating the experience of taking Mr. Harrison’s history classes. The playlist is as follows:

If you would so desire to add a tune to this piece of art, please email [email protected] to make sure y’all don’t sully it with trash like Nickelback. Thanks!
