Life Lessons Learned From the NFL Playoffs

by budderball
The NFL playoffs were filled with many ups and downs for me. While we wait for another Chiefs vs. 49ers Super Bowl*, here are some life lessons I learned:

After watching the Cowboys lose again I learned:
How lucky I am not to have been indoctrinated into the most delusional NFL fanbase.

After watching the Rams play the Lions I learned:
To be an NFL wide receiver you need a really unique name. How do people with the names Puka Nacua, Tutu Atwell, and Amon-ra St. Brown even exist???

After watching the Bill's field goal go wide right I learned:
Josh Allen and the Bills must be cursed or something because they are never winning the Super Bowl at this rate (Sorry Ms. Yurchak.)

After watching Brock Purdy almost lose to the Packers I learned:
Brock Purdy definitely belongs in California because that man can not function in the rain.

After going 0-2 in conference playoff predictions I learned:
If you want to become a professional sports bettor, listen to my predictions and bet on the opposite.

After watching the Chiefs make the Super Bowl I learned:
Taylor Swift's career as a professional NFL girlfriend looks promising. She’s only a rookie in the league and has already made it to the most-watched television event in the U.S.!

After watching the Lions give up a 17 point comeback to the 49ers I learned:
To never be overly cocky against the football predictions of someone else's dad.
