Male Teacher Lore

by budderball
Male Teacher Lore - adjacent to Dad Lore, but not to say that your male teachers have any relation to being a father figure in your life (unless they are, and in that case, go resolve your daddy issues first.) Male Teacher Lore, like Dad Lore, involves discovering mind-blowing facts about an adult male figure in your life. The twist? They share it with the nonchalance of someone discussing the weather, leaving you to exclaim, "When were you going to tell me this?" Here are some bits of Westridge Male Teacher Lore I’ve discovered during the time I’ve been here:

  • Mr. E
    • Mr. E won the Nobel Prize for physics in 1999 but doesn’t get a lot of opportunity to talk about it.
  • Dr. Busch
    • You may have heard that Dr. Busch has 5 degrees in math, but have you also heard that he used to be the frontman of a Grammy-winning death metal band?
  • Skop
    • Skop finished as the runner-up in the 2016 Boston Marathon (in the wheelchair section).
  • Mr. Harrison
    • Mr. Harrison and Mr. Raines went to the same preschool growing up
  • Mr. Raines
    • Mr. Raines was actually hired as a ghostwriter to write the Odyssey.
